On June 10, 2020, in Milton, Pennsylvania, 14-year-old Tyrone Hurst tragically lost his life in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Tyrone, a young male of African American ethnicity, was found dead alongside his mother, Brenda Hurst, who was 58 years old. According to the Northumberland County police, Brenda Hurst shot her son before turning the gun on herself. The incident occurred at their home on Philips Road.
