On August 4, 2021, 31-year-old Walter Leroy Clark Jr., a Black male, was tragically shot to death in Chester, Pennsylvania. He was found inside a severely damaged tan Chevrolet Lumina on the 800 block of Concord Avenue. Officers were initially called to the area of Ninth and Tilghman Streets for reports of shots fired around 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they redirected to Kerlin Street and discovered Clark suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side of his upper trunk area.
