Death by Force

On May 14, 2021, 43-year-old Jose Bermudez of Allentown, PA, was fatally shot in the back four times during an altercation on the 100 block of North Hall Street. The incident occurred after Raymond Bryan Gourgue, 36, interjected himself into a verbal argument involving Bermudez. Bermudez was pronounced dead later that night at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. The Lehigh County Coroner ruled his death a homicide.
