On April 1, 2011, Deshaun Parks, a 17-year-old from Detroit, was tragically killed in a violent robbery. The incident occurred at approximately 12:35 a.m. while Parks was walking on the 17800 block of Dresden in Detroit. He was confronted by two armed individuals who proceeded to fatally shoot him and rob him.
