In the quiet borough of Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, a long life came to a tragic and unexpected end. Josephine R. Lauchnor, an 89-year-old female, died on Sunday, July 17, 2022, not from natural causes, but at the hands of her husband in a heart-wrenching murder-suicide. She and her husband of 71 years, Leonard L. Lauchnor, were found deceased in their home on Coal Street.
