On the night of July 23, 1968, during the Glenville shootout and subsequent riots in Cleveland, Ohio, 22-year-old African American Clifford Miller was tragically killed. According to eyewitnesses, around midnight, two white men in an automobile shot at three young black men waiting for a bus at East 79th Street and St. Clair Avenue.
