Allison Beth Krause, a 19-year-old Jewish female student at Kent State University, was one of four students killed by soldiers of the Ohio Army National Guard during the Kent State shootings on May 4, 1970. The shootings occurred as students protested against the invasion of Cambodia and the presence of the National Guard on campus.
