Jason K. Grossnickle, a 25-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, was a Dayton Police Officer who tragically lost his life on May 23, 1996. Officer Grossnickle was killed in an ambush as he arrived for work at the 3rd District Headquarters located at 2013 West Third Street.
