Shedrick Chapman Jr., a 43-year-old Black male, tragically died on January 6, 2007, in Cleveland, Ohio. The incident occurred on East 73rd Street and St. Clair Avenue, where the Cleveland Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident. Chapman was found inside his flipped vehicle and was subsequently transported to a hospital. Upon examination, it was discovered that he had sustained a gunshot wound.
