Kayla Elizabeth Allen, a 10-year-old girl from Brooklyn, Ohio, tragically lost her life on April 12, 2012. She was critically injured when her father, Kevin Allen, opened fire at a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Brooklyn, a suburb of Cleveland. The incident occurred during a family celebration of her sister Kerri's 10th birthday. Kevin Allen shot and killed his wife, Katherina Allen, and their daughter Kerri before wounding Kayla.
