Genevieve Smith, a 42-year-old woman from Ripley, Ohio, tragically died on December 5, 2013. Her death was part of a disturbing incident that also involved her estranged husband, Andrew Smith, who was 55 years old. The couple was found deceased in a vehicle on Schwallie Road near Ripley, with a handgun discovered inside the vehicle. The circumstances of their deaths were initially investigated as a possible murder-suicide.
