Taru Lamar Smith Sr., a 36-year-old man from Lorain, tragically died on March 18, 2014, in Wellsville, Ohio. He was fatally shot while driving northbound on Clover Alley just minutes before 6 p.m. According to police reports, someone in another vehicle fired between four and five shots, striking Smith multiple times.
