In July of 2011, a one-year-old boy named Davion Fisher was rushed to a hospital from his home in Detroit, Michigan. He was pronounced dead two days later, on July 28, 2011. An investigation revealed that the cause of death was a cranial fracture, and the young male also had burns on his face. Davion, a Black male, was 16 months old at the time of his death.
