Derrick D. McGlothin, a 36-year-old African American male from East Cleveland, OH, was found dead on April 19, 2015, on the 1700 block of Carlyon Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, and the case drew significant attention from local law enforcement and the community.
