Acea DD Smith, a 33-year-old Black male from Akron, Ohio, tragically lost his life on May 17, 2015. He was fatally shot in front of 557 Wildwood Avenue in Akron. Smith was one of three individuals who were shot while standing in front of a residence in the 500 block of Wildwood Avenue. The other victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, but Smith was critically wounded and transported to Akron General Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
