John Conklin, a 53-year-old man from Toledo, OH, was found dead on August 23, 2015, from an apparent gunshot wound in his home on Rose Glenn Drive. The investigation revealed that John Conklin was shot by his older brother, James Conklin, 58, who was subsequently arrested and charged with murder. James Conklin called 911 at 12:10 a.m., claiming that John "came at him and he shot him," according to court records.
