Korey Lamont Piert, aged 33, was killed on November 2, 2011, in Detroit, Michigan. He was found on Harrell Street, and his death has been listed as one of the many homicides that occurred in Detroit that year. A memorial was established for him, and family members, along with friends, have continued to mourn the loss of Korey. His untimely death remains one of the numerous tragic incidents that contribute to the ongoing challenge of violent crime in Detroit.
