Scott Robert Shaw, a 55-year-old man from Twinsburg, Ohio, tragically died on September 1, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Kellee Shaw and loving father of two sons, Ryan and Brandon. Scott Shaw's death was the result of a domestic dispute that escalated into a deadly shooting. His father, Charles Robert Shaw, 76, shot him twice during an argument at their home on Sherwin Drive.

Scott Shaw was transported to the Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg Emergency Room, where he was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m.
The incident was investigated by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and the officer involved in the shooting was placed on administrative leave during the investigation. Ultimately, the Summit County Prosecutor's Office ruled the officer's use of deadly force as justified, concluding that the officer had probable cause to believe that Charles Shaw posed a significant threat of serious physical harm to himself and others.
