Jason Clarke Brady, a 40-year-old man from Waverly, Ohio, tragically died on December 3, 2015. His death was the result of a shooting incident involving his neighbor, former Pike County Deputy Joel Jenkins. Jenkins, who had been drinking alcohol and taking medication, was attempting to show Brady how to disarm an assailant when he accidentally shot Brady in the head with a loaded firearm. The incident occurred at Jenkins' home on East 7th Street in Waverly.
