Kristina Mykal Newsome, a 16-year-old sophomore at Minford High School in Lucasville, Ohio, was tragically murdered on January 4, 2016, along with her mother, Candace Sue Newsome. The incident occurred at their home when an intruder or intruders broke in. Kristina was born on October 18, 1999, to Michael Lykins and the late Candace Sue Newsome.
