Candace Sue Newsome, aged 48, and her 16-year-old daughter Kristina Mykal Newsome were tragically found shot to death in their home on Blue Run Road in Minford, Ohio, on January 4, 2016. The victims were discovered by a family member early that morning, and preliminary investigations indicated that both had died from gunshot wounds. Candace Newsome, a well-loved member of the community, was affectionately known as "Aunt Candy" due to her kind and giving nature.
