Michael D. Mays, a 29-year-old male from Jefferson, OH, tragically died on March 9, 2016. He was shot and killed early in the morning outside the K-9 Club in Jefferson Township. The incident was captured on surveillance video, which showed six individuals attacking Mays. According to his father, Alfred Belton, Mays was falsely accused of a crime, and the suspects retaliated, leading to his death.
