Jerry Barnett Jr., a 25-year-old male from Middletown, Ohio, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2016. He was shot and killed while sitting in a car on the 1200 block of Jackson Lane. Barnett and two others were inside the vehicle when someone opened fire, striking him with two gunshots. The driver of the car fled the scene and drove to a nearby store, where they called the police. Despite immediate medical attention, Barnett was pronounced dead at the scene.
