Thomas E. Sams, a 34-year-old male resident of Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on March 17, 2017. He was involved in a fatal shootout on the front porch of a home on Lakeland Avenue in Copley, Ohio. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when police responded to a report of gunshots.
