Thomas E. Sams, a 34-year-old male resident of Akron, Ohio, tragically passed away on March 17, 2017. He was involved in a fatal shootout on the front porch of a home on Lakeland Avenue in Copley, Ohio. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. when police responded to a report of gunshots. Sams was found lying on the porch with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other individual involved, Delamon A. Marshall, 41, of Akron, was also found wounded and later hospitalized. ...
