Tywan Cortez Johnson, a 15-year-old African American male from Cleveland, OH, was tragically shot and killed on March 25, 2017. His death occurred during a violent shootout in the East 79th Street and Woodland Avenue area. Johnson was one of two victims in the incident; the other victim was David Wilder, a 61-year-old adjunct professor at Cleveland State University. Both victims were pronounced dead at the hospital.
