Abdel Latif Bashiti, a 12-year-old boy of Arab ethnicity, tragically lost his life on November 24, 2017, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was fatally shot in the torso while standing outside his father's beauty supply shop on Buckeye Road. The incident occurred when a group of teenagers, aged between 14 and 16, were involved in a shooting. Bashiti had gone outside to see what was happening and was caught in the crossfire.
