Joan Horton, a 39-year-old woman from Cincinnati, OH, tragically died on January 5, 2018. She was shot during an altercation at Andy's Cafe in the Carthage neighborhood. According to police reports, Horton was involved in a fight with another woman who did not have a gun. During the altercation, Horton, who had a concealed carry permit, pulled out her handgun.
