John Verhovec Jr., an 18-year-old male from Sandusky, Ohio, tragically died on February 15, 2018, from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound. According to reports, John was showing off a semiautomatic handgun to his friends when the accident occurred. Although he had removed the magazine from the pistol, there was still one round left in the chamber, which discharged accidentally, leading to his death.
