Dakota Spurlock, a 24-year-old man from Clermont County, was found dead in a field near New Market, Highland County, Ohio, on February 28, 2018. Spurlock's body had sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest. The investigation revealed that Spurlock had a criminal record, including drug crimes and firearm violations.
