Frederick J. DeVito, a 79-year-old man from Heath, Ohio, died on April 12, 2018. Initially, his death was reported as a suicide. DeVito was found with gunshot wounds to the head and hand at his home on Conn Way Drive. His longtime partner, Victoria Corson, claimed she had tried to take a firearm away from DeVito, which accidentally discharged and injured her arm. DeVito then reportedly shot himself.
