On a tragic Mother's Day in 2012, the lives of 61-year-old Brenda Evans and her 71-year-old husband, William, were brutally cut short in their home on Lenox Street in Detroit, Michigan. The African-American couple was discovered on May 13th, having been fatally stabbed. The Wayne County medical examiner's office officially ruled their deaths as homicides.
