Calvin Hamm Jr., a 53-year-old African American man from Cleveland, OH, tragically died on June 12, 2018, from injuries sustained in a shooting. On that fateful day, police were called to the 6800 block of East 69th St. and found Hamm bleeding from a gunshot wound to his chest in a front yard. He was immediately rushed to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he fought for his life for nearly two weeks before succumbing to his injuries on July 6, 2018.
