In the summer of 2012, the life of 35-year-old David Reid was tragically cut short in Detroit, Michigan. An African American man, Reid was last seen by those who knew him near the intersection of Schaefer Highway and Chicago Boulevard on the city's west side. What happened in the hours that followed remains a mystery, but the outcome was grim and horrifying.
