Jalon Canty, aged 18, was shot and killed on September 5, 2012, on Anglin Street in Detroit, Michigan. Canty was murdered just days before his 19th birthday. According to reports, the shooting took place on Detroit's east side, where Canty was fatally injured while he was in a residential area. He was a young father, and his death was particularly tragic due to the circumstances surrounding his youth and future plans.
