Choya Elmer, a 24-year-old male from Cincinnati, Ohio, tragically passed away on July 1, 2020. He was born on September 8, 1995, in Cincinnati. The cause of his death was a result of a double murder. On June 30, 2020, Choya Elmer and another 24-year-old man, Leontae Johnson, were shot while in a car on Spring Grove Avenue in Cincinnati. Their vehicle crashed into a utility pole following the shooting, and both men were pronounced dead at the scene.
