On July 10, 2020, 18-year-old Aiden Alexander, a male of unspecified ethnicity from Dayton, OH, tragically died after being shot in the face by an 18-year-old named Matthew Ogburn Jr. The incident occurred in the basement of a house on Gunckel Avenue in Dayton. According to court records, Ogburn was reportedly playing with a loaded gun when it accidentally discharged, hitting Alexander. Ogburn, who was on house arrest at the time, fled the scene but was later found and arrested by police.
