She was attending a memorial vigil in Steubenville when she became an innocent victim of senseless gun violence. Mytia was born on March 14, 1996, to Joseph Barker and Heather Hamilton. She was a graduate of Steubenville High School and Youngstown State University, where she earned a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice.
