Stephan A. Blackshear, a 31-year-old man from Dayton, Ohio, tragically died on September 2, 2020, after being critically injured in a shooting incident. The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. on September 1, 2020, near South James H. McGee Boulevard and West Third Street. Blackshear was shot while stopped at a red light by someone driving a pickup truck. He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead the following day.
