Marlon DeWayne Lewis, a 24-year-old African American male from Dayton, Ohio, tragically lost his life on October 17, 2020. He was fatally shot on Whitmore Avenue in Dayton, and despite being rushed to Miami Valley Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m., when officers responded to the scene after Lewis was first taken to a nearby fire station by a friend. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed his death the following day.
