Terrance Vandiver Jr., a 31-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2020, in Akron, Ohio. Vandiver was attending a gathering at a home on Wall Street in Akron when an unexpected and violent incident occurred. Joseph Pinckney, a 34-year-old male from Akron, forcibly entered the residence through the back door and began shooting. Vandiver was struck six times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
