Finesse Robinson, a 20-year-old Black male from Columbus, OH, tragically died on December 28, 2020. He was involved in a fatal shooting at the Exxon gas station on East Livingston Avenue. According to police reports, Robinson and 17-year-old Donell Freeman were engaged in a gunfight in the gas station's parking lot. Surveillance footage shows Robinson walking out of the gas station when someone in an SUV fired shots at him, and Robinson returned fire.
Both Robinson and Freeman were transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition, but unfortunately, they were pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Robinson was out on house arrest at the time of his death. He had been charged with aggravated robbery and attempted homicide in 2018 and was awaiting sentencing. The investigation revealed that a third person involved in the incident fled the scene in a white Jeep.
