Linda Purdy, a 47-year-old woman from Gahanna, Ohio, tragically died on February 4, 2021, from a gunshot wound in her residence on Brookhill Drive. Initially reported as a stabbing, the investigation later determined that she had been shot. The incident was quickly linked to her boyfriend, 51-year-old Edward A. Johnson, who was identified as the primary suspect.
