Luke's death was the result of a tragic incident in which he was lured to a location in Westwood under the pretense of meeting a woman he had connected with on
Tinder. However, the woman's profile was fake, and it was a setup to rob him. When Luke arrived at the location, he was shot through the windshield of his car by 19-year-old Christian Henderson, who was later arrested along with a 16-year-old girl named Savannah Wilson. Both were charged with aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.
Luke's mother, Nikki Coffin, has been fighting for justice ever since her son's death. She has faced numerous delays in the legal process, including Henderson deciding to represent himself, which has caused further delays. Despite the challenges, Coffin remains determined to see justice served for her son.
