Wesley Wright, a 48-year-old Black male, tragically died on July 18, 2021, in Cleveland, OH. Wright was a resident of the Men's Shelter at 2100 Lakeside Avenue, seeking refuge from homelessness. He was shot and killed in the early hours of the morning near East 20th Street and Krause Court. The incident occurred approximately half a mile away from the shelter. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
