Johanna Johey Crawford, aged 66, was tragically shot and killed in her Oregon, Ohio home on December 16, 2021. She was a beloved pediatric nurse and a court-appointed special advocate volunteer who touched many lives with her compassion and dedication. Johanna was also caring for her 8-year-old great-granddaughter at the time of her death. The perpetrator kidnapped the child but later returned her safely to her grandfather.
