Blair Snyder, a 28-year-old man from Wooster, Ohio, tragically lost his life on May 20, 2022. The incident occurred in the 400 block of East Larwill Street, where Snyder was involved in an argument with a 19-year-old man named Dylan Pelfrey from Orrville. According to witnesses, the argument escalated when Pelfrey pulled out a handgun and shot Snyder in the chest before fleeing the scene.
Snyder was quickly transported to Wooster Community Hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
Following the shooting, Pelfrey was found and arrested in Orrville with the help of the Orrville Police Department. Both firearms involved in the incident were recovered by the police. Pelfrey was charged with one count of murder and faced additional charges, including improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon.
