On August 14, 2022, 23-year-old Kevonte Smith was fatally shot in Euclid, Ohio. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. near the intersection of Upper Terrace Road and Buena Vista Drive. Smith was found behind a car with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Euclid Police Department confirmed that they received several calls from people hearing gunshots around the time of the incident.
