Joseph T. Hunley, a 46-year-old male from Mount Orab, Ohio, was found deceased on September 24, 2022. Hunters discovered his body in Brown County, about one-half mile west of 1984 Buford-Bardwell Road. Hunley had suffered what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the head, and a handgun was found near his body. The Highland County Sheriff’s Office initially reported no indication of foul play, but the investigation into his death was ongoing.
