JaVontae Allen Conner, a 21-year-old male from Canton, Ohio, tragically lost his life on October 17, 2022. He was found in the living room of a home in the 1600 block of Oakmont Street NW around 3:14 a.m., suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stark County Coroner's Office.

The incident occurred early in the morning, and an 18-year-old woman was also found in the home with a gunshot wound to her abdomen. ...
