Thomas Harold Gentry, a 48-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, was tragically murdered on July 14, 1986, in Norwood, North Carolina. He was found shot multiple times in his home, and the investigation revealed that he had been killed in an ambush-style attack. Gentry was a beloved member of the community and had served in the U.S. Army for 21 years before retiring and moving back to his hometown.
